There is a single Terete leaf of up to 300mm, enclosing the stem for all but the top 80mm. The flower stem bears a slender Spike of 10 to 30 flowers. The flowers are inverted, with the Labellum above the Column and the Dorsal Sepal is 7mm long, directed downwards. All Sepals are brownish-green, with the lateral pair 8mm long, upright, usually joined to give the appearance of a single segment. The lateral Petals are shorter, 6mm, and are slender linear, whitish with a purplish central stripe, spreading and curved forwards. The Labellum is Obovate, white with crisped edges. It is bent sharply up and back on itself at the mid-point. There is a single large Callus in the centre of the Labellum extending from the base to just past the bend. |
