Scientific Name : Drymophila cyanocarpa
Common Name : Turquoise berry
Height : 200 mm
Description : A small inconspicuous lily, often hidden under bracken. The stem is often branched, with Alternate Cauline leaves, Lanceolate 50mm by 10m. The flowers are up to 15mm wide, with white to pale blue Lanceolate spreading Tepals. The flowers are pendulous in the leaf Axils on pedicels 10mm long. There are 6 Stamens and the Style is divided into three segments. The fruit is a berry 5 to 10mm long, white to pale blue.
Habitat : Moist shaded forests.
Distribution : New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. In Victoria mainly in the South-East with isolated occurrences in the West. In the Park, only known on and near the bracken flat on the Fosters Gully track.
