A perennial herb, with a woody rootstock from which arise multiple tall stems. Leaves are
Sessile, in Opposite pairs. They are Lanceolate, 50 to 200 mm long with toothed margins. The Inflorescence consists of pairs of elongated Racemes in the upper leaf Axils. Racemes are 80 to 250 mm long, bearing up to 100 flowers. The flowers, 6 mm wide, have a short tube, with four spreading lobes, white to pale blue. There are two Stamens, exserted from the flower and a single Style. |

Moist forests in hills and subalpine areas, often growing on roadside banks in alpine regions. |

Queensland, N.S.W., Victoria South Austra;ia and Tasmania. In Victoria, widespread in subalpine areas. In the park, found on scattered on hillsides and hilltops on either side of Billys Creek. |
