A small inconspicuous orchid, most readily spotted by the dense colonies of leaves. There are two ovate leaves, yellow-green with a wavy edge. Very few plants in a colony flower. The flower stem is solitary with a single flower. Perianth segments are up to 15 mm long, greenish brown in colour. The Dorsal Sepal is upright and encloses the Column. The lateral Sepals are slender and curved forwards under the Labellum. The lateral Petals are narrow, strongly Reflexed against the Ovary.The Labellum forms a kite-shaped platform, with a slender tip, curled under the front. It has a dense mass of blackish Calli, which include a single large stalked Gland near the base. |

New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. In Victoria, widespread in the South. Common in the Park on sandy soils on both sides of Fosters Gully and on Silvertop Hill. |
