Description : |

A medium-sized, swallow-like bird to 180mm, feeding on insects caught on the wing. The body is smoky-brown, with a small patch of black in front of the eye. The short beak is pale blue, with a blck tip. The wing is blackish, with a white leading edge. The tail is blackish, with a white patch at the tip, each side of the centre. |

Queensland to south-east South Australia, Tasmania and south-west Western Australia. Found throughout Victoria. Summer visitor to the Park, mostly localised to two known breeding colonies, on Stringybark Ridge and adjacent to Billys Creek. |
